Re: It Took Me 2 Years To Discover FUDA Hospital
Dear Dr. Xu Kecheng,President, Fuda Hospital,
Two years ago, my doctor found my rectal cancer and recommended that I had operation right away. With not much time to think, plan, or search for alternatives, I had my first operation done in March 2007, followed by 8 times chemotherapy and 28 times of radiation. I was happy because the doctor assured me that I should live well, the recurrence might take about 5-8 years, then he would deal with it again, no problem.During all those times after the operation I visited the doctor every 2-3 weeks, it showed no sign of recurrence, though the CEA tumor marker showed a bit above average.
In May 2008, I felt something was wrong, because it bled every time I had constipation. I reported to my doctor, he checked and cut few pieces of the tissue for biopsy, and the result showed nothing was wrong. In August 2008, I reported to my doctor that there had to be something wrong because I felt more pain, this time he took it more seriously. |

Thorbjorn Jensen and Mother Jensen) In my first interview with 42-year-old Danish patient Mr. Thorbjorn Jensen, what struck me is how incredibly healthy he looked, as well as the great big smile that greeted me when I walked through the door. Sitting in one of the big comfortable chairs, Thorbjorn agreed to share his story, not only with me, but with all the patients that would come to Fuda after him. With his mother listening on the side, I asked the big question: |

In 2001, Bente was diagnosed with melanoma in Denmark. Not knowing if she would have another birthday, she began learning more about her options. After learning from other Danish cancer patients who had had good results at Fuda Cancer Hospital and had returned home to Denmark, Bente followed in their steps. Bente was admitted to Fuda in April, 2009. She was looking for treatments beyond the traditional chemotherapy and radiation. At Fuda, she found some very encouraging alternatives. After admission, Bente began her treatment if cryosurgery, interventional therapy, and combined immunotherapy for cancer (CIC). After her first round of treatment and positive results, Bente returned to Denmark for much needed rest and a family reunion. |

(Left, Charlotte and Dr. Lizhi Niu)
Mrs. Charlotte Seluer Ross was a young wife and mother with every reason to keep fighting cancer. Only 35 years-old and mother of a young son, Charlotte was diagnosed with stage IV colon carcinoma, with hepatic and pulmonary metastases.
She began initial treatment, but her condition deteriorated when relatively large amounts of water began to build up in her abdominal cavity, and her stomach had to be empty every other week. Her local doctors had little hope and told Charlotte that perhaps the best choice was to treat the symptoms, allow her to return home and to make the last moments of her life as comfortable. However, Charlotte did not choose this path:
